The "!" warnings over looters and shop windows no longer sit on the HUD: they step aside off the health bars, the boss bar and the cards, with an arrow at their target. Speech bubbles also keep off the summon card and the item you hold.
With a keyboard or a pad, the first summon card you pick up no longer shows its "SUMMON!" hint twice: the card by your health bar already says which key fires it.
The title music now keeps playing when you open the soundtrack, the press page, the manual or the update notes, and comes back when you return to the title. On the soundtrack page, starting a track fades the title music out instead of playing on top of it.
The press page, the soundtrack, the manual and the update notes now show a bar at the top: a way back to the title and links to each other, with the page you are on marked.
Before your very first game, a short note says where the game comes from and that it takes no side; it shows once. A new "Why this game" page, linked from the title screen and from OPTIONS, says more. The end credits now close on one line for the shopkeepers, the neighbours, and everyone who marched peacefully.
